Enfermedades y muerte: ola expansiva del castigo colectivo contra Gaza
Resumen
Unos cuantos días después de que el gobierno de Sudáfrica presentó una acusación contra Israel por genocidio ante la Corte de Justicia Internacional de La Haya, y de que se cumplieron cien días de la continua ofensiva militar israelí, la cifra de víctimas civiles rebasó las 24 mil muertes y los heridos más de 60,000. Tres cuartas partes de estas cifras corresponden a niños y mujeres. Sin embargo, a pesar de que el número de víctimas mortales sigue creciendo a un ritmo promedio de 125 por día,1 la mayor amenaza no proviene de las bombas, sino del hambre y de las enfermedades.
