First hand account from Medical Student from the United States as a participant observer in Barrio Adentro community health program in Venezulea.

Rebecca Trotzky Sirr

Rebecca graduates medical school at the U of MN in a few months. She was a Fulbright Scholar in Venezuela and a participant observer in Barrio Adentro community clinics in 2006/07. In her fantasy double life she & her 9 year old kid co-author a book about Great Candy Mysteries--like who actually eats the butter popcorn flavored jelly bellies? This would require lots of field research, of course.
