El impacto de la calidad de la alimentación hospitalaria en la satisfacción del paciente hospitalizado: el papel del bienestar emocional y el valor percibido

Los servicios de alimentaciónhospitalaria son un componentecríticopero a menudo pasadopor alto de la atencióncentrada en el paciente. Este estudioexamina el impacto de la calidadpercibida de la alimentaciónhospitalaria en la satisfacción del pacientehospitalizado, con el bienestaremocionalcomomediador y el valor percibidocomomoderador. Basándose en la Teoría del AfectocomoInformación y la Teoría del Valor Percibido, se realizóunaencuestacuantitativa entre 209 pacienteshospitalizados en Luoyang, China. Se empleó el Modelado de EcuacionesEstructurales de MínimosCuadradosParciales (PLS-SEM) utilizandoSmartPLS para probar las relacionespropuestas. Los resultadosrevelan que la calidadpercibida de los alimentosmejorasignificativamente la satisfacción del paciente, tanto directamentecomoindirectamente a través del bienestaremocional. Además, el efecto es másfuertecuando los pacientesperciben un mayor valor en los servicioshospitalarios. Estoshallazgossubrayan las dimensionespsicológicas y experienciales de las comidashospitalarias y sugierenestrategiasprácticas para mejorar la satisfacción del paciente a través de servicios no clínicos.
